DOCTORAL SCHOOL IN LINGUISTICS

 

Andrea Zentainé Kollár graduated in 1992 with a degree in Italian Language and Literature and Hungarian Language and Literature at the University of “Attila József” in Szeged. In 1995 she graduated in Spanish Language and Literature, at the same University. Since the Academic Year 1995-96, she has been serving as an assistant professor, and since 2007 as an associate professor at the Department of Italianistics at the University of Szeged, giving lectures and seminars in the field of linguistics, with special reference to sociolinguistics, language policy and glottodidactics. Since 2018 she has headed the Department of Italianistics. Shee received her PhD degre in 2005, with the dissertation entitled Sauris/Zahre: Linguistic politics and language rights in the mirror of a multilingual community. Since 1998, she has published nearly one hundred articles on language policy, in Hungarian and Italian journals.
