DOCTORAL SCHOOL IN LINGUISTICS
Malgorzata Suszczynska is a retired Senior Assistant Professor with many years of experience as a teacher, supervisor and researcher at the Institute of English and American Studies at the University of Szeged, Hungary. She graduated from the University of Warsaw, Poland, and earned her Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Szeged. Her main areas of expertise include sociopragmatics, cross- and intercultural pragmatics and last, but not least linguistic (im)politeness across languages and cultures. Her publications have contributed to the research on Hungarian, Polish, and English sociopragmatics.
