DOCTORAL SCHOOL IN LINGUISTICS
Orsolya Rauzs is a senior assistant professor at the Institute of German Studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Szeged. She is the study administrator of the German linguistics PhD programme. She received her PhD degree in 2016 with a thesis on the history of the German language. She was involved in international linguistics projects. She teaches mainly practical translation classes, as well as historical linguistics, language practice, and lexicography. Her research areas are language errors of learners of German, practical aspects of translation, and cognitive, linguistic and cultural analysis of early medieval texts of the Germanic oral tradition.
