DOCTORAL SCHOOL IN LINGUISTICS

 

Tamás Kispál is a post-doctoral lecturer at the Seminar of German Philology, University of Göttingen. He completed his PhD studies at the Doctoral School of Linguistics of the SZTE and received his degree with „summa cum laude” in 2010. The title of his dissertation is Metaphorische Idiome des Lebens (supervisor: András Kertész). He taught until 2014 at the Department of German Linguistics, University of Szeged, and since then at the Department of Intercultural German Studies, University of Göttingen. His main research topics are lexicology and lexicography, cognitive linguistics, corpus linguistics, science language, construction pedagogy, didactics of German as a foreign language. Former DAAD scholar and scholar of the Foundation Action Austria-Hungary, 2011–2015 managing director of the Society of Hungarian Germanists. 2008-2010 participant of the EU project SprichWort – Eine Internet-Lernplattform für das Sprachenlernen. Since 2024 participant, didactical working group leader, Management Committee member for Germany, of the COST project A Multilingual Repository of Phraseme Constructions in Central and Eastern European Languages (PhraConRep).
