Tibor Berta

graduated in Hispanic and Portuguese Philology in 1993 and received his PhD degree in 2002 at the Faculty of Humanities at  the University Eötvös Loránd, Budapest. He has been teaching Spanish, Catalan and comparative Romance linguistics at the Department of Hispanic Studies at the University of Szeged since 1993. He has been regularly collaborating with the University of Alicante and the West University of Timisoara as an invited lecturer. His research interests include the historical-comparative morphosyntax of the Ibero-Romance languages, he has published two monographs and several studies dedicated to this topic.
