DOCTORAL SCHOOL IN LINGUISTICS

 

Éva Dékány earned an MA degree in English language and literature in 2006 and an MA degree in theoretical linguistics in 2007 from Eötvös Lorán University. She received her PhD degree from the University of Tromso in 2012. She is currently a research fellow at the Research Institute for Linguistics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. She also teaches generative syntax at the Department of Theoretical Linguistics of Eötvös University on the BA, MA and PhD levels. Her research areas span the NP, the PP and the structure of embedded clauses in Hungarian and Finno-Ugric languages.
